Friends Without Benefits

FWB is not a raiding guild with a social layer on top. It is the other way around: a long-running community of adults who enjoy playing together, talking nonsense together and raiding together, and who sometimes disappear for a while because real life happens.

  Work, family, relationships and actual life come before WoW. Always.

• Social first

  People matter more than parses or gear. We play together because we like each other.

• Organised

  Raids and events are prepared and properly run, so the evening is fun instead of chaos.

• Ambition without sweat

  Killing bosses is good. Treating Molten Core like a NATO operation is less desirable.

• Everyone belongs

  New players, veterans, socials and raiders. Take a break and you are still one of us.

• Minimal drama

  Banter is fine, being an asshole is not. Problems get solved like adults.

We have been Horde and Alliance, Dutch and European, casual and progression. What carries over is not a realm, a faction or an expansion. It is the people.

   Season of Discovery

   Habbekrats founded Friends Without Benefits on the Horde side. That first version never quite got off the ground, but it is where the name and the idea were born.

2. 22 November 2024AlliancePvP

   Classic Anniversary

   Dealor revived FWB on Spineshatter EU. It started Dutch-only, then opened up to players from all over Europe and English became our common language. Our first big, mature chapter.

3. 5 February 2026HordePvE

   The Burning Crusade Anniversary

   When things got too sweaty, a smaller group took FWB back to its roots on Thunderstrike. Different realm, different faction, same people.

4. 4 November 2026HordePvE

   World of Warcraft Forever

   A fresh start from level 1 as a peaceful Horde PvE guild. Same friends, new adventure.
